Just what we need, another BLOG!

Whose fault is it now?

Why is it always someone else’s fault?  Why is the government or President always to blame?  Why don’t people take their own initiatives?

These are the kind of questions that run through my mind when I hear politicians blaming the system or coming up with some way that they will change the course of history for the better.  But come on, who believes that they truly can.  Look back through history and tell me how many monumental decisions that a President made that actually changed the course of history for the better.

Why can’t people look out for themselves?  When their home mortgage balloons to a rate that they can no longer pay, hey, let’s blame the government for our lack of foresight.  The government should have stepped up to the plate to save me from my lack of planning, etc, etc…. rubbish!

Someone builds a house on a mountainside or too close to a flood plain and when mother-nature finally comes calling, sure enough the homeowner wants the government to come to the rescue.

Why are we now conditioned to think that the government is our security blanket and that we can do whatever we want and when our lives begin to sour, its Uncle Sam to the rescue!!!  Name one program or sector that the government actually runs efficiently?  How often do you hear of government programs studied as positive case studies in classrooms?

People, take control of YOUR lives.

Sour grapes

OK,  Hillary didn't care about Florida and Michigan until her ship started to sink.  Now, she wants the delegates counted and the party that only 8 years ago said that every vote must count, says NO!

As noted in this article, http://youdecide08.foxnews.com/2008/02/16/top-clinton-adviser-says-superdelegates-will-decide-election-obamas-victories-irrelevant/ , Billary has their spiders out there, trying to redefine things to sound much more in line with their thinking.  It is mind control I tell you.   When they can't stand how harsh something sounds, they spin it to mean something else, that's basic Clintonspeak 101.

Can you prove to me that Billary won't do everything in their power to win it all?

What sets Yale apart or Maybe I need to go back and change my major

How can this quote NOT catch your attention?

"'Call me a curmudgeon, but I find that my daily ritual of waking up with a cup of coffee, a cigarette, and a copy of the YD"N" (Yale Daily News) is a little less pleasant when a smiling freshman holding a string of anal beads is staring back at me from the front page' blogger Will Wilson wrote on the Yale Free Press blog."

Time to discuss who leads the U.S.

Ah... its that time again.  Soon the airwaves will be full of more mind-numbing ads that have candidates bickering back and forth about things they really can't control and issues that don't mean a hill of beans to the average person.  Then again, who is the average person and why are the candidates so willing and able to throw out millions of dollars for a job most people don't want and really isn't that big of a paycheck when you weigh the stress involved.

Lets get this new blog started.  What do you think about anything going on in the political arena today?
